NURSERY APPLICATION – SEPTEMBER 2019

Application forms are now available for children to start Nursery in the next academic year starting September 2019.  This is for children born between 1st September 2015 to August 2016.

  • Applications will be open as from Monday 4th February 2019.
  • Application Deadline will be Monday 4th March 2019.
  • Offer Date will be Monday 18th March 2019.
  • Accept your place by Monday 25th March 2019.

Please note if your child has attended Little Learners this does not guarantee a place in Nursery.

You may be entitled to 30 hours childcare funding which doubles the existing 15 hours funding currently available.  Please check your eligibility at http://www.childcarechoices.gov.uk

If you are entitled, it is possible for you to apply to use the additional hours at Little Learners, which is an early year’s provision based at Featherstone Academy that caters for 2/4 year old’s.  They are open daily from 8:45am – 3:00pm.  They currently cater for up to 24 children during each session as a child to staff ratio of 1:4 for 2 year old children and 1:8 for 3 year old children.   Children staying all day can bring a packed lunch or have a school dinner.  An application form for this provision is also available to download or can be obtained from the school office.
